A SEVEN MONTH COVID-19 CRISIS RELIEF PROGRAM
Church to Church
During this COVID-19 crisis, people in Central America are struggling to receive basic food for their families each day. With high unemployment rates before the virus, imagine how they are now. The churches in Latin America depend on weekly tithes to survive and now that churches can’t meet together, there is nothing coming in. With many active local church partners in Guatemala and Honduras, Serve Hope is responding by uniting the American church with a church in Guatemala or Honduras.
Through strategic prayer for each other and sharing of resources, the local churches will get through this, one church at a time. A seven-month offering will be suggested to help cover the cost of the pastor and members that are struggling for. There are three levels of adoption based on the size and economics of each church. The Serve Hope staff will coordinate with each local church pastor to assess needs:
LESS THAN 40 MEMBERS
As the local government releases restrictions, the suggested offering will be reduced 20% each time until the seven month period ends.
What the Church Gets
· Photo of the pastor with their family. · Names, sizes, and ages of some of the families in the church. · One life changing story each month from the local church. · Possibility of a future visit to the church in Central America to serve their community together in Central America with Serve Hope.
Thank you for your consideration!
God is working right now! Serve Hope wants to join His church together seeing every believer using their gifts to be the hands and feet of Christ with their communities. Thank you for trusting us to unite the Global Church.
